On Friday, October 18th, LifePath (formerly Senior Services of Albany) will be hosting the 28th Annual Capital Region Senior Expo. Along with their presenting sponsor, CDPHP, LifePath will welcome over 45 exhibitors representing an array of local companies and organizations catering to Capital Region residents 60 years and older.
The Expo starts at 9 a.m. and wraps up at 2 p.m., spanning the lower level of the JCPenney wing in Crossgates Mall. It is the largest and most widely recognized trade show for older adults in the Capital Region. LifePath expects thousands of seniors to peruse the event throughout the day. All event proceeds benefit LifePath and the innovative services they provide.
This day-long exposition will feature an array of opportunities for seniors to learn about health and wellness strategies that could improve their quality of life. Attendees are able to receive flu shots from Price Chopper/Market 32 Pharmacy during the show. Throughout the day Albany Guardian Society will be hosting a series of educational workshops covering topics on aging well. Other event highlights include health insurance counseling provided by LifePath (formerly Senior Services of Albany) and a food tasting from their Meals on Wheels Program. This is the largest program of its kind in upstate New York.
LifePath would like to thank their sponsors for the 28th Annual Capital Region Senior Expo including: CDPHP, Albany Guardian Society, Price Chopper/Market 32, CDTA, e-Nable Business Solutions, Empire BlueCross, Interim HealthCare, St. Peter’s Health Partners, and Crossgates Mall.
