The Lishakillers
Jamfest started by Mr. Patrick Murphy Sr. suggesting to Lex that he, Pat II, Chuck, and Johnny get together in his back yard and play music again after 25/30 years. Three Jamfests later and you’re all waiting for IV…right? You’re welcome!
Grace Under Fire
It didn’t take long for Grace Under Fire to record their first album. Now it’s time to celebrate.
The Capital Region-based original rock band is set to release “The Age of Reason” at an album release party Oct. 20 at Wicked Eatery, Pub & Entertainment in Clifton Park.
The band—lead singer Myron Lauzon, guitarist Chuck Manchester, bassist/vocalist Mike Lisi, and drummer Mike Normandin—recorded the record over the summer at The Recording Company in Esperance, Schoharie County. Studio owner Tim Lynch engineered and co-produced the album with the band.
Grace Under Fire formed in summer 2017.
“We play music that we are passionate about, and that we believe in,” says Normandin. “We’re really excited about this record, which we think will connect with rock fans.”
The album includes 11 original songs written by the band, including “Ride,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Promised Land” and the title cut. The disc also has four songs recorded in 2016 by Manchester, Normandin and Lauzon as part of a band called Somewhere In Time.
